Now I have uninstalled KIS 2015 twice and reinstalled twice back. KIS older version was overwritten by KIS 2015 I did not uninstall.I do not remember now.īut one POINT to be noted.

Plus I have gone into regedit and searched for key words like spybot or mbam (for malwarebytes) and cleaned all references.

I had uninstalled the free sw by control panel. Only winpatrol seems to be running and am not able to uninstall from control panel. Though nothing serious was found and machine anyway is now ok w.r.t speed, I had uninstalled SPYBOT, Malwarebytes and superspyware (or was it superanitsoyrware? ) [ all suggestions from this forum only.
I also used Spybot search & destroy, Winpatrol, Superspyware, malware bytes all free versions recently while using KIS 2013 to check why my machine was slow. I just upgraded to KIS 2015 and it did the rest automatically when installing. I think my earlier version was KIS 2013 (with probably 2 yr licence). I was using a previous version of KIS and it expired and then I bought KIS2015 only few days back. So network settings on my laptop running windows XP is NOT the issue. So my home environment is NOT the issue here.Īlso i tried using both my home environment which is a broadband router connection to my telephone service provider but also used datacard.
KIS is KASPERSKY Internet security 2015 version 15.0.1.415 and also the latest version 15.0.2.361 both giving same issue.īut they are working on my laptop with windows 7. My Machine is Windows XP Home version 2002 SP3 Toshiba Satellite Laptop (8 yrs more old) and 2 GB RAM. It means KIS 2015 is blocking some traffic and holding on to it till I reboot or windows refreshes automatically after some time. This disconnection happens after one minute or less and when I exit the KIS 2015 the reconnection happens after a long time and sometimes I have to reboot the machine. Only when I exit the application internet access comes back again. This is happening even if KIS protection is disabled but it is still running in system tray. I am not able to access internet the moment KIS 2015 is running.
